The Ducks and Geese are migrating and they have stopped in our town by the hundreds if not thousands. We take the kids to the park to feed the ducks and usually there are a handful of ducks and geese to feed. There are tons of them right now, and they are not shy. They come right up to you and eat the bread right out of your hands. One day they swarmed us and we dropped the bread and they started pecking at my shoe and following us to our car. Only the geese are so brave to come right up to you, and they beat up on the ducks when they try to get some bread. If you notice little Gordy is not in any of the pictures, that is because he saw all the birds coming and ran up the bank to Daddy.

Honestly, I think I would have stayed on the bank too. Those geese can be very mean! Also, I believe that several of those geese may have migrated from here. If you would like, you could send a note attached to one's foot and see if I get it in the spring. Just an idea.
