We canned sliced peaches, peach jam and pomegranite jelly.

Gordy and I worked as a team to get the canning done.

What a STUD !!!!!
We finally got to the peaches on our Tree before the birds and the bugs.
Last year we didn't have any edible peaches and the year before the birds
and bugs got most of them. But this year was good, we even have apples
and pears on our other trees. Bless the people who lived here before us
and planted all these fruit trees. We made it a Family canning day. Gordy
and the kids picked peaches, While I washed and sterilized the canning jars
and got the kitchen ready. Then we went to work canning. It was alot
of work, but we had fun.

Yummy! I had no idea you had peach trees. That pomegranate jam sounds good too!

That's awesome!! I wish we had some fruit trees. I have NEVER canned I feel like I'm not a "real" Mormon wife because I've never had that canning experience. Oh well...
